Dr. Gustavo K Bastos, who developed and maintains the Ortosite is a dentist, specialist in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics. He finished both, dental school and the postgraduate program in pediatric dentistry at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. He got his specialist degree in Orthodontics at UFF (Universidade Federal Fluminense).

Beside his private practice, where he works mainly with fixed appliance, Dr. Gustavo is also a professor and conference speaker.. He also wrote three books about the use of the internet and digital photography in orthodontics and many articles, published in important scientific magazines in Brazil.
